2015 University Games - Gwangju, Korea

10/02/2015 - The city of Gwangju in Korea will be hosting the 2015 University Games. This will be the 28th Summer Universiade and Table Tennis is one of the 13 sports included in those games. Athletes will compete in Men's and Women's Team events as well as single, double and mixed events. Up to 5 women and 5 men can represent Canada at these game.

Defended title for Pierre-Luc and first title for Anqi Luo

30/01/2015 - The 2015 Canada Series Finals fulfilled the expectations of all supporters in Mississauga, Toronto with some amazing table tennis. Pierre-Luc Theriault from Québec was able to defend his title from 2014, while Ontario's Anqi Luo took the title of National Team Challenge Women's Champion for the first time in her still young career.

National Team Squad List - Winter 2015

16/01/2015 - The Winter 2015 National Team List is now posted. Jeremy Hazin and Ioulia Degtiar are the newest editions to the World Championships Squad while Sara Yuen made it back into the World Championships Squad as well as the Olympic Squad. Many of the top seeded junior players also found themselves in the Shadow Squad.

Team Canada with Women's and Men's Team at the 2015 Team World Cup

08/01/2015 - The forthcoming 2015 World Team Cup will be staged in Dubai from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th January. There are 12 teams in each of the Men’s and Women’s events. 6 continental teams, 5 teams who finished in the highest positions at the ZEN-NOH 2014 World Team Table Tennis Championships and one team from the host association.

The New Plastic Ball

01/01/2015 - Table Tennis Canada encourages the use of the new plastic ball immediately in all training and competition. All ***star and higher competitions must use the new plastic ball as of September 1. As of January 1, 2015, all sanctioned events, events that submit their results to the Canadian Ranking System, must use the new plastic balls.

Joola Canada Series 2014/15 - Final Standings

31/12/2014 - After 4 tournaments, hosted in Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton and Montreal, we have the final standings of the 2014/15 qualification tournaments for the Canada Series Finals. The 2015 Joola Canada Series Finals will be held in Missaussaga, Toronto on January 31st and Feburary 1st 2015. An exciting event prior to the Pan Am Games in 2015.

2014 Copa Costa Rica Para Tournament Success

24/12/2014 - The 2014 Copa Costa Rica Para Tournament, was staged in San José, the capital of the Central American country, which borders Panama and Nicaragua, named “Rich Coast” when translated into English. The entry for the tournament was most certainly rich in talent with a total of 135 men and 44 women that entered the tournament.

Ontario dominates Quebec Circuit and last Canada Series Qualifier

21/12/2014 - The last tournament of the Canada Series Qualifier was held in Laval, Quebec on December 20th & 21st 2014. A big delegation from Ontario came to the tournament and dominated the Top 9 standings for all the categories. Raymond Zhang won the Senior Men title and Sara Yuen the Senior Women title, after being second at the Toronto Qualifier.

Bryan Ho claimed three titles at the Alberta Open Canada Series Qualifier

07/12/2014 - Despite sub-zero temperature outside, the play hall inside Boyle Community Centre in Edmonton, Alberta was packed with sweating competitors and spectators last weekend. After two days of fierce competition, Bryan Ho from Calgary was the big winner, he went home with three titles; Men Singles, JR 17 Boys and Open Doubles.
