Ontario dominates Quebec Circuit and last Canada Series Qualifier

21/12/2014 - The last tournament of the Canada Series Qualifier was held in Laval, Quebec on December 20th & 21st 2014. A big delegation from Ontario came to the tournament and dominated the Top 9 standings for all the categories. Raymond Zhang won the Senior Men title and Sara Yuen the Senior Women title, after being second at the Toronto Qualifier.

Bryan Ho claimed three titles at the Alberta Open Canada Series Qualifier

07/12/2014 - Despite sub-zero temperature outside, the play hall inside Boyle Community Centre in Edmonton, Alberta was packed with sweating competitors and spectators last weekend. After two days of fierce competition, Bryan Ho from Calgary was the big winner, he went home with three titles; Men Singles, JR 17 Boys and Open Doubles.

Andre Ho and Ivy Liao winners of the Vancouver Open Canada Series Qualifier

03/12/2014 - Vancouver, BC was the host of the second leg of the Qualifier for the 2015 Joola Canada Series Finals. Both Andre Ho in the Men's and Ivy Liao in the Women's event to dominated their category without loosing a single set. Ivy also won the Junior U17 Girls category to make this a very successful tournament for herself.

Joola Canada Series 2014/15

01/12/2014 - The 2014/15 Canada Series will feature four events culminating in the 2015 Canada Series Finals. Players will need to prove themselves to qualify for the Finals of the Series to be hosted January 30th to February 1st 2015 at MYTTC in Mississauga, ON. Wisdom 2014 World Junior Table Tennis Championships

29/11/2014 - The Championships will start today in Shanghai, China with the Canadians Junior Boys and Girls Team. The Boys with Filip Ilijevski, Antoine Bernadet, Klement Yeung and Marko Medjugorac will go into the competition as seed 16, while the girls Anqi Luo, Amy Nichols, Jiabao Liu and Alicia Cote will be 17th.

Alexander Moran and Yi Lu are the winners of the first Canada Series Finales qualifier

24/11/2014 - Missaussaga, Toronto was the host for the first of four tournaments to qualify for the Joola Canada Series Finals, hosted at the same location, at the end of January 2015. 83 players came together to get into the Top 8 positions in 8 different categories, to gain points for the final standings and to qualify for the finals.

20/11/2014 - Only a few days left for the start of the Wisdom 2014 World Junior Table Tennis Championships in Shanghai, China. Canada will be represented by 2 teams from November 30th till December 7th. 2014 World Cadet Challenge - Bronze Medal Success

01/11/2014 - 5 Canadians were part of the North American Team at the 2014 ITTF World Cadet Challenge in Bridgetown, Barbados. The teams included Jeremy Hazin and Bryan Ho for the Boys Team, Justina Yeung and Ivy Liao for the girls team. Maxime Surprenant, Canadian National Junior Team Coach, was in charge of the Cadet Boys Team.

2014 Canadian Para Table Tennis Championships

23/10/2014 - The 2014 Canadian Para Championships took place at My Table Tennis Club – Mississauga on Oct 18 – 19. 17 Para players from Class 2 to Class 11 participated in the Championships. National Coach John Macpherson was encouraged by the depth and breadth of the competition. Muhammad Mudassar (ON) and Ian Kent (NS) each won 2 gold medals.
