2015 Summer Universiade Five Canadians to compete in table tennis in Gwangju

Gold for Jeremy Hazin at Puerto Rico Junior and Cadet Open

22/06/2015 - Aguada, PUERTO RICO was the host of the 2015 Junior & Cadet Open. As #1 seeded, for Canada’s Jeremy Hazin, life was less exacting. He surrendered just one solitary game en route to gold; that being in the final against Argentina’s Martin Betancor, the no.4 seed, a contest he won in four games (13-15, 11-9, 11-8, 12-10).

Spanish Para Open - Silver and Bronze for Ian Kent

21/06/2015 - El Prat de Llobrega, SPAIN was the host to the 2015 Para Spanish Open. Canadian National Para Team Player Ian Kent participated in this years event very successfully. A bronze medal in the single competition after a very close loss in the semi finals. With partner Ben Despineux from Belgium, they won Silver in the team competition.
