The New Plastic Ball

01/01/2015 - Table Tennis Canada encourages the use of the new plastic ball immediately in all training and competition. All ***star and higher competitions must use the new plastic ball as of September 1. As of January 1, 2015, all sanctioned events, events that submit their results to the Canadian Ranking System, must use the new plastic balls.

Joola Canada Series 2014/15

31/12/2014 - The 2014/15 Canada Series will feature five events culminating in the 2015 Canada Series Finals. Players will need to prove themselves to qualify for the Finals of the Series to be hosted January 30th to February 1st 2015 at MYTTC in Mississauga, ON. 2014 World Cadet Challenge

24/10/2014 - The 2014 World Cadet Challenge has begin in Barbados with a 4 day training camp. Jeremy Hazin, Bryan Ho, Justina Yeung, and Ivy Liao will be playing as part of Team North America, while Maxime Surprenant will be one of the coaches. The competition will start with team events on October 27. Singles and doubles events start on October 30.

2014 Canadian Para Table tennis Championships

23/10/2014 - The 2014 Canadian Para Championships took place at My Table Tennis Club – Mississauga on Oct 18 – 19. 17 Para players from Class 2 to Class 11 participated in the Championships. National Coach John Macpherson was encouraged by the depth and breadth of the competition. Muhammad Mudassar (ON) and Ian Kent (NS) each won 2 gold medals.

26/09/2014 - Twillingate, NL, native Bruce Burton is the newest member of the International Table Tennis Federation's Executive Committee. International table tennis has experience a dramatic make-over under the presidency of another Canadian, Adham Sharara. Mr. Sharara moved on from his post as ITTF President to that of the newly created ITTF Chair.
