28/07/2014 - What a great day for our Canadian Team in Glasgow at the 2014 Commonwealth Championships.

No set was lost for any of our players, what an amazing start into the singles event.

In men’s singles table tennis action, Pierre-Luc Thériault beat Alan Lin of Vanuatu 4-0 and then defeated Gilton Chelibe of Uganda 4-0.

2014 Double Fish Canadian Championships

13/07/2014 - After 3 days of competition where 119 players competed to be crowned Canadian Champions, two players were able to defend their title. Eugene Zhen WANG of Ontario won his 3rd Men’s title while Mo ZHANG of British Columbia won her 7th Championship. In the team event, Ontario and BC defended their Men’s and Women’s Team title respectively.

2014 Double Fish Canadian Junior Championships

10/07/2014 - 102 junior and cadet players competed at the 2014 Double Fish Canadian Junior Championships held this year at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. In the team event, BC won 2 events, while Ontario and Quebec each won 1. In the individual events, Ontario won 4 events, Quebec and BC each won 2 events, and Alberta won 1 event.

Table Tennis Canada Nominates Six Athletes to the Glasgow 2014 Candian Team

07/07/2014 - Table Tennis Canada and Commonwealth Games Canada (CGC) today confirmed the six athletes named to Team Canada for the XXth Commonwealth Games in Glasgow Scotland in July.

Canadian Olympians Eugene Wang, Andre Ho and Mo Zhang will guide Canada’s men’s and women’s table tennis teams in to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

2016 Canadian Championships go to Winnipeg, Manitoba

06/07/2014 - At the AGM, the Members Council decided to give the bid of the 2016 Canadian Championships to Winnipeg Manitoba. Both Tourism Winnipeg and the Manitoba Table Tennis Association put together a very nice presentation to host this prestigious event.

2014 Double Fish ITTF NA Cup & Canada Open Concludes

30/06/2014 - For the second time in five years, Metro Vancouver hosted the 2014 Double Fish Canadian Open. This time, the tournament will be held at Simon Fraser University on top of Burnaby Mountain. The competition will be after the North American Cup on Friday June 27 to Saturday June 29.

Funding goes directly to the athletes to allow athletes to maintain a long-term commitment to training and competition and to further their athletic goals.
