The forthcoming 2015 World Team Cup will be staged in Dubai from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th January. There are 12 teams in each of the Men’s and Women’s events. 6 continental teams, 5 teams who finished in the highest positions at the ZEN-NOH 2014 World Team Table Tennis Championships and one team from the host association. The playing format is the Olympic format, which will add extra interest in the lead in to Rio 2016.
Canada is present with a women's and a men's team at this 2015 World Team Cup.
Men's Team: Pierre-Luc Thériault, Antoine Bernadet, Marko Medjugorac, Filip Ilijevski, Coach Wang
Women's Team: Mo Zhang, Anqi Luo, Alicia Côte, Jiabao Liu, Coach Chen
The Men's Team will be facing Portugal and Korea Republic in Group D, while the Women's Team will challenge Japan and Romania in group B.
