| Canada recognizes Marzieh Hakimara (QC) |
Marzieh Hakimara, along with Denis Vigeant (QC) and Greg Dzioba (MB) have attended the World Table Tennis Championships in Kuala Lumpur during the past week (Feb 28-Mar 6). The three have been excellent representatives for Canada.
Marzieh Hakimara has passed the Advanced Rules Exam (ARE) and has completed the Advanced Umpire Training seminar. During the World Championship Marzieh was evaluated and met expectations on two separate matches. Excellent performance.
Canada is proud to recognize Marzieh Hakimara as the newest Blue Badge (in progress) umpire. Once she completes two more evaluations with success she will be the only female in Canada to have the Blue Badge status. Once again, congratulations.
