"I am feeling really good!!! I am glad to see that the hard work is paying off. Plus I am very humbled by the experience" says the 2017 Youth Para PanAm Champion in the Class 8 Singles category, Curtis Caron.
Curtis won the gold medal in the class 8 singles event at the 2017 Para PanAm Youth Championships. While Gabriel won his first ever international match and even had a record with finishing 4th in the class 7 singles event.
Yesterday we beat Colombia to advance to the semifinals. Then we lost to chile 0-2, I got to play the quarterfinalist from rio in class six so great experience. Today we played Brazil in the bronze medal match and won 2-1!! First we lost the doubles 3-0, then I won my singles so Gabriel played for a tiebreaker and won in the fifth set! Truly an amazing experience!!!
Congratulations Team Canada, we are very proud of you!
