2016 World Cadet Challenge

Shanghai, the most populous of all Chinese cities, is the home for the forthcoming 2016 ITTF World Cadet Challenge. Play commences on Friday 21st October and concludes on Saturday 29th October 2016; the home for proceedings is the China Table Tennis College Training Hall situated in Yangpu District.

Throughout different North American tournaments and their world ranking, 4 Canadian Athletes qualified for this event. Ivy Liao and Isabelle Xiong (both from British Columbia), Edward Ly (Québec) and Alexander Bu (Ontario) will represent Team North America at this tournament featuring the best Cadet players (under 15 years old) from all over the world. The fifth Canadian on the team will be Coach Yong Jiang Liu (British Columbia).

Prior to deciding the winners in Team, Double, Mixed Double and Singles event, there will be be a trainings camp from October 21st till the 23rd 2016.
