Nova Scotia dominating 2016 Para Canadian Championships

Drummondville, Québec hosted the 2016 Para Canadian Championships and what a great event it was. The Singles event was a huge success for Nova Scotia with 2 gold medals and 2 bronze medals. Ontario was the strongest in the Wheelchair Singles as they got all 3 medals in this event. 

2016 Open category champion Ian Kent said, "It wasn't pretty but I went undefeated here in Drummondville in the Men's Open singles and my young team partner, fellow Nova Scotian Curtis Caron and I won Gold in the Team Competition!!!So double gold for me somehow. Curtis picked a gold in the youth singles and Bronze in the Open. We are a team now and will work hard towards being ready to make a good run in Peru 2019."
