5 Canadians on Team North American for the 2016 World Cadet Challenge

Shanghai, China will be the host of the 2016 ITTF World Cadet Challenge. The event will taking place from October 21st to October 29th 2016.

Throughout different North American tournaments and their world ranking, 4 Canadian Athletes qualified for this event. Ivy Liao and Isabelle Xiong (both from British Columbia), Edward Ly (Québec) and Alexander Bu (Ontario) will represent Team North America at this tournament featuring the best Cadet players (under 15 years old) from all over the world. The fifth Canadian on the team will be Coach Yong Jiang Liu (British Columbia).

Prior to deciding the winners in Team, Double, Mixed Double and Singles event, there will be be a trainings camp from October 21st till the 23rd 2016.
