2016 Olympic Games

Rio 2016 is finally upon us, and with Table Tennis featuring on the opening day, here is your guide to the Olympic structure of the sport. Competing in the Olympic Games has become the ultimate; for those players who will be in action in Rio de Janeiro from Saturday 6th to Wednesday 17th August, the dream has come true. Two of them are from Canada, Mo Zhang from British Columbia and Eugene Wang from Ontario.

"Since the draw is out, the pressure is on. Before that we were quiet relaxed" says Eugene Wang with a smile on his face, while Mo laughs "Yes, we are at the Games now." A wonderful start to the interview with our Canadian Table Tennis Olympians. Both Canadians focus on training at this point to get ready for their opening match just one day away. "We will give our best, we are ready for it" says Mo while keeping a smile on her face. Off we go, Rio 2016 can begin!
