TRANS CANADA Coach Certification Tour “Ontario and West”

Table Tennis Canada is launching the first edition of the Trans-Canada Coach Certification Tour. A certified Master Learning Facilitator will offer coach education workshops throughout Ontario and the Western provinces, all the way to Whitehorse, YK.
There has been little activity concerning certification of coaches under the new NCCP. Mario Potvin – a teacher and coach from Granby, QC, who has certified in excess of 100 coaches under the new NCCP - has been engaged to ‘jump start’ coaching certification for interested coaches and for those who are interested in becoming NCCP certified coaches.
The courses will provide an opportunity for coaches who work in clubs to become certified in the Canadian system. The workshops will be tailored to the needs of the candidates – a brief online survey will let Mario know who his students will be and where he will need to place his focus in the workshops.
This is an opportunity to increase the number of coaches in your club and the number of Learning Facilitators in your area.
