Table Tennis Canada is looking to employ a National Team Head Coach / High Performance Director

Table Tennis Canada (TTCAN) is the national governing body for the sport of table tennis in Canada. The successful candidate will be based in Markham, Ontario at the National Training Centre (NTC).

Duties and responsibilities:

- develop/refine coach driven, athlete centred High Performance Plan
- develop Team 2024 plan with the goal of being competitive for a medal at the 2024 Olympic Games
- develop individual annual plans for National Team athletes
- participate and provide input in Team 2024 selection
- serve as National Training Centre coach at the NTC in Markham
- build a team of coaches to cover Canada’s widely dispersed player centres
- organize bi-annual coach meetings with coaching team
- coordinate fitness training and testing of targeted athletes
- set up/monitor technology based planning, training and evaluation systems
- international competitions
- assist with administration of National team program

Requirements:

- proven international performance within the last decade
- fluency in English, French (an asset)
- relocate to Markham, ON
- ability to multi-task; internet technology proficient
- pass required background checks
- certification: CAC High Performance / Level 4 or international equivalent
