Manama, Bahrein - November 15. Coming off some good results at the Hungarian Open, the Canadian Junior teams moved on to Bahrein, the final stop of the 2012 ITTF Junior Circuit. 

Silver for the Boys Team Drawn into the strongest Round Robin group, Team Canada after beating a junior team from host Bahrein, faced a Challenge from Chinese Taipei. With two points from Hongtao Chen and 1 point from James Pintea, the Canadians won the match and secured a spot in the semi-finals.

Hong Kong waited for the Canadians, with their young star Ka Tak Hung, well known to the Canadians from the Scotiabank Canadian Junior Open in Markham in early October. A solid performance from the Canadian team resulted in a 3-0 victory over Hong Kong, with James Pintea securing the closest match of the encounter against Ka Tak Hung - 11-9 in the deciding game.

It took combined forces from Singapore and Hong Kong to defeat the Canadian team in Finals. While Hongtao Chen remained unbeaten, Singapore's Clarence Chew and Hong Kong's Li Hon Ming both won against Pintea and secured the doubles for a 3-2 win.

Bronze for the Ladies Advancing from the Round Robin stage as second after losing a close match (2-3) against Romania B, the Canadian faced Romania A in the semi-finals. The junior girls had to acknowledge Romania's superiority (0-3) and settle for Bronze.
