The 2013 President's Cup saw future Canadian table tennis stars gain valuable experience. Although all competitors had the chance to qualify for the Canada Series Final, there were many exciting and close match for all to watch.
The Men's Final saw a rematch from the group stage between Marko Medjugorac (QC), who had just return from competing in Sweden, and Alexander Moran (ON). Medjugorac won the group match 3 games to nil. However, Moran was able to regroup and defeated Medjugorac 3 games to 1.
The Women's Final also saw a group stage rematch between Justina Yeung (ON) and Cherry Zheng (BC). Yeung won the the group match convincingly 3 games to nil. But as was the case in the Men's Final, the results were reversed. Zheng, who had just won a hard fought 5 game semi-final match against Catherine Dauplaise (QC), defeated Yeung by 3 games to nil.
