Fort Qu'appelle, SK - 16-year old Marko Medjugorac (QC) and 14-year old Jane Yan (BC) were successful in both the respective senior and junior events at the Saskatchewan Open. Yan defeated Vanja Golubovic (SK) in both the Junior and the Senior women's finals.
Medjugorac, who joined the National Training Center Group in August, faced off successfully against training partner Mathieu Theriault (QC) in both the junior and the senior finals. Lucas Wang (AB) secured 3rd place with a win over Todd Gregory (PEI),
In the Canada Series standings both Theriault and Medjugorac made progress with Theriault sitting in third and Medjugorak in fifth place in the Men's standings. Theriault is leading the Junior Boys standings followed by Medjugorac.
Jane Yan tops the women's and the junior girls standings.
